I was so happy to see that our manager understood that the swine flu virus should be taken very seriously. She made sure to have automatic faucets and purell instant hand sanitizer dispensers installed into all of the restrooms in the building.

I had talked with her about how a lot of the employees are parents in our building and that they would more likely come to work sick themselves, so that if their kids got sick they could stay home with them. I think that she understood what I was saying and told me that she had already contacted the corporate office on what precautions she should take, to make our office safe during this outbreak that is causing problems all over the country.

In addition to the automatic faucets and the purell instant hand sanitizer dispensers in the restroom, I guess that we are going to be getting additional sanitizing dispensers located all over the building. There will be one at the entrances and also in the break rooms. I suggested that we put one at each door of the elevators and my manager liked that idea. I am going to ask our staff if they can think of anything else that might be helpful in this situation.
