Yesterday, my favorite economics professor told us that he has discovered what it takes to survive the economic crisis. Of course, being an economics major and a victim of the economic downturn of the country, my professor’s statement was able to awaken my interest. I have read a lot of economic journals and articles before talking about the causes and possible solutions of the economic crisis, but I am more interested my favorite professor’s side of the story.

He then faced the white boards and wrote in big capital letters: “Spend and save rationally”. He turned around and looked at all our reactions and started his very extensive explanation of the matter. In summary, he said that knowing when and how to spend and save our money is the only key to be able to successfully conquer the problem and avoid having the same problem in the future.

I then thought if my decision to spend some of my savings to buy a Used HP Servers for my unit is a rational choice.

I immediately told myself that it is because buying a new Proliant Servers will cost almost all of my savings. At that time, spending a part of it for a used one is the most rational choice to choose.
